College of Environmental Sciences

In support of scientific output and the promotion of academic research, the College of Environmental Sciences has published a peer-reviewed scientific book entitled:

“Environmental Health Culture and its Biological Impact on Community Health.” This book addresses, in a systematic and scientific manner, the role of environmental health culture in mitigating biological risks and analyzes the impact of environmental factors on human health, focusing on the concepts of prevention and health promotion at the community level.

The book explores the integrated relationship between health culture and environmental awareness, and their direct and indirect biological impact on human and community health. It highlights the importance of knowledge and healthy behaviors in disease prevention and the role of conscious environmental management in improving quality of life. It also reviews the concept of the biological clock and the impact of its regularity or disruption on vital functions and overall health. The book discusses the role of health awareness in reducing the spread of infectious and non-infectious diseases and the importance of healthy food and a clean environment in protecting human health. It concludes by explaining the various effects of environmental pollution on health, emphasizing that promoting health culture and environmental awareness is fundamental to protecting society and achieving a balance between humans and their environment. This book is a valuable addition to the academic library, as it provides solid scientific content that contributes to enriching educational programs and postgraduate studies, and supporting researchers and students in the fields of environmental science, environmental health, and public health, in addition to its role in promoting environmental health awareness based on approved scientific principles.
