College of Environmental Sciences

In the implementation of the directives of the Dean of the College, Dr. Yousra Majeed Al-Shaker, the Department of Environmental Sciences in the College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies organized a scientific trip for the students of the fourth stage within the Environmental Applications subject, accompanied by several professors, to the environmentally friendly Al-Yarmouk Park of the Municipality of Mosul on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
The students and supervising professors participated in a volunteer campaign to plant the Egyptian acacia tree. The students were also briefed on the most prominent environmentally friendly projects implemented there and their sustainability processes, such as the solar system, sustainable afforestation, drip irrigation, and the optical prism, in addition to the dancing fountain that supports water recycling to water the crops.
