Discussion of a master’s thesis in the College of Environmental Sciences on the sudden environmental change of the ADORA2A gene and its relationship to panic attacks..
This morning, Saturday, August 31, 2024, a master’s thesis was discussed for the student Sarah Mazid Ali Latif Al-Taie on her thesis entitled “The effect of sudden environmental change on the polymorphism of the ADORA2A gene and its relationship to panic attacks and some biochemical characteristics.”
The discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Nashat Ghaleb Mustafa and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Arqam Muhammad Azhar and Lecturer Dr. Liqa Saeed Abdullah and the supervision of Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khalil.
The study included collecting blood samples from patients with sudden diabetes and non-genetic epilepsy and conducting molecular biology experiments and investigating the mutation rs5751876 associated with panic disorders.
