The starting of the Student Theater Festival (21) at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision and presence of Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of the College, and his scientific and administrative assistants, the activities of the Student Theater Festival were launched today, Sunday, February 11, 2024, the session of the late playwright (Hussein Rahim), and in the Experimental Theater Hall, the first show was titled (An Oath in Pain) It was written by the writer and theater director Bayat Merhi and directed by the student Mustafa Ali. It carried the theme that there is a hair between reason and madness, so that its actors embody this duality through a group of crazy people whose world an investigative journalist enters to find out the reasons for their loss of their minds.
This festival is scheduled to continue until next Tuesday, February 20, with a theatrical show every day.
