College of Fine Arts

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs, and academic, artistic, cultural, and media elites, the activities of the Second International Conference of Colleges of Fine Arts in Iraq were launched today, Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of our college, and with the participation of more than (40) researchers from all Iraqi universities.
The first session was opened by reading (10) summaries of the research of professors of the colleges of fine arts at the universities of Babylon, Basra, Baghdad, Diyala, and Al-Qadisiyah, followed by the opening of a fine arts exhibition in which a distinguished group of employees of the colleges of fine arts in Iraq participated. This was followed by the proceedings of the second session in a critical reading of five academic books. It was written by specialized professors from the College of Fine Arts and critically reviewed by an elite group of art and beauty professors. The first session of the second day is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in the discussion hall in our beautiful college.
