Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at our college, held a seminar titled “The Role of Women and Its Importance in Life” today, Wednesday, June 5, 2024, with the attendance of the college’s female staff.

The seminar featured presentations by the educators Azhar Ramzi Aziz and Janan Abdul Razak Khidr, who discussed the importance of the role of women in the arts throughout history and civilizations in various fields of science, knowledge, and artistic and literary creativity. They also emphasized women’s interest in art and the spaces for searching for identity.

In addition to presenting a showcase of several Arab female artists interested in visual arts and their role in developing contemporary techniques.
