A joyful celebration of National Tree Day at the College of Fine Arts / University of Mosul

The Deanship of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul held a joyful celebration on the occasion of National Tree Day, March 12, in the presence of the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Munqith Muhammad Faisal, Tuesday, March 12, 2024, and with the active and broad participation of our college’s teaching staff, employees, and students.
The celebration’s activities and events varied between:
1. Printing an awareness notebook about afforestation and distributing it to students in 300 copies containing pictures and educational quotes on the subject of afforestation.
2. Holding an applied scientific workshop on the intersection of meaning and concept between the tree and the meanings of its presence in plastic drawing.
3. Producing a short film about the importance of afforestation in the general and university environment in particular.
4. ⁠Planting plants and trees in campus and college gardens.
5. ⁠Design and print awareness posters about the importance of afforestation to encourage students to practice afforestation inside and outside the university campus.
Awareness brochures were also distributed to college students, and the celebration concluded with a massive campaign to plant trees and ornamental plants in the gardens of the College of Fine Arts.
