The launch of the activities of the first day of the central conference (Popular Mobilization – History, Struggle and Sacrifices)
In the presence of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi; Professor Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of the College of Fine Arts; Dr. Ahmed Al-Hasoud, Chairman of the Nineveh Provincial Council; representatives of the Popular Mobilization Forces; members of the Council of Deans of the Colleges of Fine and Applied Arts in Iraq; and academic, cultural, artistic, and scientific elites from Iraqi universities.
The activities of the first day of the central conference entitled “The Popular Mobilization Forces: History, Struggle, and Sacrifices” began today, Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
After the opening and welcoming remarks, the documentary film “Shadows of Ashes” directed by Dhu Al-Fiqar Al-Mutairi was screened. The poster exhibition was then opened, followed by the announcement of the opening of the conference with its intellectual and research sessions.
