College of Fine Arts

The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit at the College of Fine Arts, held a workshop entitled “The Right to Freedom of Opinion and Expression” on Thursday, May 22, 2024. The workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College, a team from the High Commission for Human Rights, Nineveh Office, and a number of college staff and students. The workshop was lectured by Dr. Nagham Luqman from the High Commission for Human Rights. The workshop aimed to emphasize the importance of promoting freedom of opinion and expression, highlighting the personal rights of individuals and society, and building bridges of communication between the various arts and human rights.
