An awareness lecture titled “(Your Card is Your Security)” was held at the College of Fine Arts.
As part of the joint cooperation between the College of Fine Arts and the National Security Service, an awareness lecture titled (Your Card is Your Security) was held on Monday, August 4, 2025.
The event was attended by Professor Dr. Hamed Ibrahim Al-Rashedi, the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, the Scientific Assistant, and several college staff members. The lecture was delivered by a number of officers from the Financial Intelligence Directorate of the National Security Service.
The officers addressed the most significant digital challenges and the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of financial data on electronic payment cards. They also discussed fraud prevention methods, the legal aspects of electronic protection, the risks threatening individuals and information systems, how to avoid becoming a victim of financial fraud, and how the event aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (5-8-16-17).
