College of Fine Arts

On Sunday, August 24, 2025, Professor Dr. Munqith Mohammed Faisal, a faculty member at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul, was awarded a Certificate of Thanks and Appreciation by the Deanship of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra. The certificate was presented by the Dean, Professor Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar.

This recognition was given in appreciation of Dr. Munqith’s scholarly contributions to the educational process and for his role in discussing the master’s thesis of researcher Duaa Ali Abdul Hussein Rahma from the University of Basra. The thesis was titled “Fundamentals of Directorial Writing for the Author-Director’s Text in Iraqi Theatre.
