College of Fine Arts

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Team at the College of Fine Arts, held a scientific symposium titled “Achieving Transparency Through Sustainable Development: Strategies and Mechanisms” today, Tuesday, October 14, 2025. The event took place at Jalal Jameel Hall with the attendance of several college staff members.

The symposium featured presentations by Assistant Professor Dr. Hadeel Subhi Ismail, Assistant Professor Dr. Taha Saleh Khalaf, Assistant Professor Firdaus Behnam Yashoua, Lecturer Ibrahim Salem Mohammed, and Assistant Lecturer Zakaria Jalal Bashir. The session was moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Tariq Fadhil.

The symposium aimed to shed light on the role of sustainable development principles in enhancing transparency within governmental and academic institutions. This was achieved by reviewing strategies and mechanisms that contribute to consolidating the values of integrity and accountability, and building administrative, economic, and social systems based on clarity, efficiency, and community participation.
