Professors from the College of Fine Arts serve as Chairs and Members of committees for the establishment of postgraduate scientific departments at the University of Babylon.
Professor Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul, chaired the Ministerial Committee for the establishment of a PhD program in Fine Arts (Painting) at the College of Fine Arts, University of Babylon. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Munqidh Muhammad Al-Bajdali, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, chaired the committee for establishing a Master’s program in Theater Arts (Directing Department), while Prof. Dr. Mayada Majeed Al-Bajalan chaired the committee for establishing a Master’s program in Theater Techniques.
The committees also included participation from Asst. Prof. Dr. Musab Ibrahim Al-Taee as a member of the committee for establishing a Master’s program in Theater Arts (Acting), Asst. Prof. Dr. Alwan Khulaif Mahmoud as a member of the committee for establishing a Master’s program in Ceramics, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Zaid Tariq Fadhil as a member of the committee for establishing a Master’s program in Drama and Theater Criticism. During the visit on October 28–29, 2025, the committee members toured the college to inspect classrooms, laboratories, and the availability of material and human resources required to meet the established standards.
