College of Fine Arts

In line with the directives of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, the Government Communication and Media Division—in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Liaison and in coordination with the Agricultural Division of the Diwan Affairs Department—organized the “Ghiras Al-Rahma” (Seeds of Mercy) afforestation campaign.

Held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, the campaign took place in the college gardens as part of the voluntary encouragement initiative launched by the University of Mosul. The event was attended by the Associate Deans, as well as several staff members and students. The initiative featured tree donations from college personnel to be planted on-site, aiming to foster a sense of responsibility toward climate preservation and environmental safety. Furthermore, it sought to encourage the spirit of initiative and volunteerism while achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 5 and SDG 13).
