A Scientific Seminar on Providing Support and Advice for Protecting Academic Student Rights and Duties
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized a scientific seminar titled: “Providing Support and Advice on Protecting the Rights and Duties of Academic Students.”
The seminar took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Jalal Jamil Hall, with the attendance of several faculty members and undergraduate students. The lectures were delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Taha Saleh Khalaf, Dr. Omar Fawaz Jabbar, Dr. Nada Abdulaziz Saleh, and Asst. Lect. Safaa Adnan Zaki. The session was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Zaid Tariq Fadhil.
The seminar aimed to introduce the relevant Iraqi regulations and laws, focusing on the recent amendments as per the Student Discipline Instructions No. 160 of 2007.
