College of Fine Arts

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit—in cooperation with the Student Activities Division—organized a poster exhibition titled:

“Together for Awareness Against the Danger of Drugs”

The event was held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, as part of the “Iraqi Anti-Drug Week” program. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Dean, in the presence of the Vice Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, along with faculty members and students.

The exhibition featured a variety of awareness posters created by professors and students from the Departments of Plastic Arts and Art Education. The artworks addressed the phenomenon of drug abuse and prevention strategies to combat this serious issue, highlighting its devastating impact on individuals, families, and society.
