“College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul Records a Distinguished Presence at the International Conference on Social Sciences in Muscat for 2026”

The College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul embodied its active presence in international scientific forums through the qualitative participation of Prof. Dr. Mayada Majeed Al-Bajlan in the proceedings of the 11th International Refereed Scientific Conference for Social Sciences and Humanities, hosted by the city of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, on January 20–21, 2026, under the slogan “Cognitive Integration in the Humanities and Social Sciences to Achieve Sustainable Development.” Dr. Al-Bajlan presented a specialized research paper that shed light on “Street Theatre Art” as one of the most prominent contemporary performing arts. The research addressed the cultural and social dimensions of this art, highlighting its core role in shaping human discourse and enhancing community interaction within an integrative vision combining the arts and the humanities.

The participation aimed to strengthen academic ties between Arab and international researchers and activate rigorous scientific dialogue, culminating in a set of recommendations that emphasized the necessity of investing in and utilizing the arts as a vital tool to achieve sustainable development goals.
