A commemorative event at the College of Fine Arts on the occasion of World Theatre Day

Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul, a commemorative event was held on March 27 to mark World Theatre Day.
The gathering was attended by a select group of professors and students from the Departments of Theatre and Art Education. It commenced with the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha in honor of the souls of Iraq’s martyrs from the security forces, followed by a speech delivered by Professor Dr. Bashar Abdul-Ghani Mohammed. In his address, he emphasized the role of theatre in establishing peace, its humanitarian mission in promoting human dignity and happiness, and its rejection of wars.
