The Enlightenment Role of Art: A Lecture at the College of Fine Arts

The Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Fine Arts, organized a lecture entitled “The Enlightenment Role of Art” today, Thursday, January 15, 2026.

The lecture was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, along with the Scientific Assistant, heads of scientific departments, and a number of the college staff. It was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Iman Abdul-Sattar Al-Kubaisi from the University of Technology (Tikrit University), and moderated by Prof. Dr. Mayada Majeed Al-Bajlan.

The lecture aimed to highlight the enlightenment role of art and foster its presence within the consciousness of students who will later become educational leaders in the fields of arts and art education.
