Launch of the “Jisr Al-Rahma” (Bridge of Mercy) Voluntary Project with Artistic Activities by the College of Fine Arts
Under the auspices and in the presence of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, the activities of the “Bridge of Mercy” (Jisr Al-Rahma) voluntary project were launched today, Saturday, December 20, 2025. This project is part of a major voluntary initiative launched by the Presidency of the University of Mosul.
The College of Fine Arts is participating by painting murals and organizing various artistic activities aimed at supporting the community and embodying the values of solidarity and volunteer work among university members and the local community, as part of the largest volunteer campaign in the northern region.
The launch took place in the presence of the volunteer committee of the College of Fine Arts and the student volunteer team. The activities are scheduled to continue until December 25, 2025.
