The Department of Art Education, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Fine Arts, concluded the specialized training course entitled “The Application of Plastic Materials in Sculpture Works,” which ran from February 22 to February 24, 2026, for second-year students.

The course, lectured by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Tahseen Jamal, addressed the technical and aesthetic aspects of using plastic materials in sculptural formation and how to transform these materials into works of art with high expressive value. It aimed to equip students with skills in handling modern and non-traditional raw materials, while striving to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (Goals 4 and 9) by integrating concepts of recycling and industrial innovation into academic artistic practice.
