The Department of Theater Arts at the College of Fine Arts held its first periodic session for the new academic year 2026–2027 today, Sunday, chaired by Dr. Aqeel Majid Hamid and in the presence of all faculty members to discuss the academic and artistic preparations for the upcoming phase.

The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of strategic and organizational axes aimed at advancing the educational reality, emphasizing the necessity for the teaching staff to complete the Eduba platform courses, alongside monitoring and finalizing the uploading of lectures via the Iq-learn platform to ensure keeping pace with the latest educational systems. The attendees also discussed the initial preparations for holding the Department of Theater Arts festival for the first semester, reviewed and audited graduation research titles for fourth-year students, and intensified joint efforts to implement the requirements of institutional and programmatic accreditation, thereby ensuring the enhancement of the department’s educational outcomes.
