As part of the series of discussion sessions held by the Mosul Studies Center in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit/University of Mosul, Dr. Suhaib Hazem Al-Ghadhanfari, a faculty member in the Department of Historical and Social Studies at the Mosul Studies Center, presented a summary of his research entitled:

Mosul’s Caravanserais in the Zengid Era and Their Impact on the Cultural Aspect.

Session Chair: Prof. Dr. Maha Saeed Hamid.

Session Rapporteur: Dr. Hanaa Jassim Al-Sabaawi.

This took place at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in the presence of faculty members from the Center.

The discussion covered the research objectives, concept, and contents, and included a discussion of the diverse opinions of faculty members at the Mosul Studies Center. These opinions enriched the research with valuable information and contributed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 5, 8, 11, and 17.
