Participation of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Students, and Postgraduate Studies in the Meeting of the European Excellence Committee for Quality

As part of the college’s ongoing efforts to achieve academic excellence and ensure comprehensive quality, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Students, and Postgraduate Studies, Lecturer Dr. Saad Hussein Murad, participated in the meeting of the European Excellence Committee for Quality, held on (insert date), with the participation of a distinguished group of academics and experts from various universities and scientific institutions.

This participation comes within the framework of the college’s efforts to promote the concepts of quality assurance and academic accreditation, and to implement the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) excellence standards, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The meeting also discussed the importance of linking academic quality standards with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), by developing academic programs, improving research outputs, and creating an innovative learning environment capable of meeting the demands of both local and international labor markets.

During his participation, the Assistant Dean emphasized the need to integrate the principles of sustainable development into higher education policies and to develop strategic plans that support the sustainability of the educational and research processes, contributing to the establishment of a modern knowledge-based society.

This step is considered part of the college’s vision to actively contribute to achieving high-quality, sustainable education and to ensure quality in all academic and administrative processes, ultimately aiming to elevate the scientific level of students and graduates.
