Mission
The College of Nursing seeks to prepare scientifically and professionally qualified nursing cadres at the local and regional levels, capable of providing distinguished care that meets the needs of the community and institutions at all levels of health care. This aims to promote the health of individuals and society in accordance with quality standards in nursing, while adhering to professional ethics, preserving a healthy environment, developing sustainable infrastructure, and strengthening effective partnerships with local and regional institutions.
Objectives
1- Develop teaching and administrative staff to enhance the level of scientific and professional performance in all nursing specialties.
2- Develop and update the college’s academic programs and curricula to achieve academic standards and meet the needs of society and labor market requirements, in addition to establishing regional and international academic partnerships with counterpart nursing colleges.
3- Provide an academic and administrative environment that promotes education, productivity, and creative thinking in order to achieve the highest levels of quality in nursing education.
4- Enable students to understand nursing theories and the principles of nursing sciences and apply them in providing nursing care and managing nursing affairs.
5- Develop students’ comprehensive understanding of job descriptions, job analysis, and professional codes of conduct.
6- Develop a scientific research plan to support the educational process and advance nursing sciences in order to serve society, while promoting a culture of international research publication.
7- Emphasize the application of sustainable development standards, support energy efficiency, and reduce polluting emissions to ensure a suitable healthy environment.
8- Apply modern quality management systems to meet academic accreditation requirements at the national and international levels, thereby enhancing the college’s performance.
9- Strengthen cooperation with local, regional, and international universities and educational and research centers.
