Basic Nursing Sciences
The branch of Basic Nursing Sciences was established in 1993 since the founding of the Nursing College. Its aim is to connect between sciences and nursing to prepare skilled nurses in following and applying scientific steps in providing healthcare. Some of the categorized subjects for Basic Nursing Sciences, considered as supporting materials for clinical nursing lessons according to stages, are:
First stage: Biochemistry, Physiology, Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Computers, Nutrition, Clinical Chemistry, Parasitology.
Second stage: Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, English Language, Microscopic Biology.
Third stage: Statistics, Research Methods, Human Rights, Civilizational Ethics.
