Fundamentals of Nursing Laboratory

The College of Nursing at the University of Mosul is distinguished by its well-equipped scientific laboratories that utilize the latest modern educational tools. These laboratories are categorized based on specialties, and one of them is the Fundamentals of Nursing Laboratory.

This lab is equipped with advanced educational tools that simulate real-life scenarios, such as mannequins used for practicing intramuscular and intravenous injections, mannequins for wound suturing, sterilization tools, and modern screens integrated with electronic programs that enhance students’ performance in the lab.

The laboratory provides students with the opportunity to acquire practical skills before entering the real healthcare environment in medical institutions. This helps reduce errors and encourages students to overcome fear and immerse themselves in professional practice more quickly.
