The Presidency of the University of Mosul honored a number of faculty members from the College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering in recognition of their outstanding scientific efforts in publishing research in international journals indexed in Scopus and Clarivate, and ranked within the first quartile (Q1).

This recognition included a financial reward of (4,000,000) four million Iraqi dinars for each researcher, as a means of supporting and encouraging high-quality scientific output and strengthening the university’s research standing at the international level.
