College of Physical Education & Sport Sciences

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Nibras Younis Mohammed, the Department of Sports Sciences, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, held a workshop on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, entitled “Employing Creative Thinking Elements in Sports.” Dr. Ayad Mohammed Sheet and Dr. Jamal Shukri Basim lectured at the workshop.
The workshop addressed the most important elements of creative thinking, which are directly related to the sports field. It aimed to emphasize the role of creativity and innovation in developing athletes from a physical and skill perspective, as well as the role of creativity in adding important details, which play a fundamental role in school sports.
The course was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Nibras Younis Mohammed, and a number of faculty members and undergraduate and graduate students.
