Master’s thesis: “Adapting a number of basic football skills tests according to some biomechanical variables.”

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences hosted a master’s thesis discussion on Thursday, August 28, 2025, entitled “Adapting a Number of Basic Football Skill Tests According to Some Biomechanical Variables.” Part of the discussion was attended by Dr. Zini Mishko Haji and a number of faculty members.
The thesis, submitted by student Majeed Sabah Majeed Zakaria, addressed the adaptation of a number of basic football skill tests according to some biomechanical variables.
The study addressed the modification of some football skill tests according to some biomechanical variables, such as ball speed and ball touch frequency, in addition to constructing a number of basic football skill tests.
It aims to adapt a number of football skill tests according to mechanical variables and to develop standard tables and levels for standardized tests.
The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Thelam Younis Alawi, with Assistant Professor Dr. Nashat Basheer Ibraheem and Assistant Professor Dr. Riyad Zaki Ibraheem as members, and was supervised and included Professor Dr. Omar Samir Thanoon and Professor Dr. Mohammed Khalil Mohammed.
