Citizens’ Affairs Unit

The Citizens’ Affairs Unit is the civilized interface and the direct link between the College administration and the public. It is responsible for receiving complaints, suggestions, and requests from citizens, students, and staff. The office aims to promote transparency, simplify administrative procedures, and resolve pending issues. Administratively and organizationally, the unit reports directly to the Dean of the College.

Head of the Unit: Mr. Mohammed Salem Mahmoud.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Request Management: Receiving applications, complaints, and suggestions from citizens and students, and immediately forwarding them to the relevant specialized departments within the college.

  • Coordinating Interviews: Organizing and coordinating periodic meetings between the Dean and citizens or students to hear their concerns and address their legal needs.

  • Follow-up & Resolution: Monitoring the actions taken regarding complaints and requests, ensuring they are finalized, and informing the concerned parties of the results and final decisions.

  • Statistical Reporting: Preparing periodic reports and statistics on the types of complaints and suggestions received, and submitting them to the Dean to facilitate informed decision-making.

  • Public Guidance: Providing necessary information and guidance to citizens and visitors on how to complete their official transactions within the college’s various departments.

  • Transparency & Integrity: Ensuring the application of integrity and transparency standards in all public dealings, safeguarding citizens’ rights, and facilitating all administrative procedures.
