Division of Media and Government Communication

The Division is directly linked to the Dean of the College both administratively and organizationally. It focuses on highlighting the College Deanship’s objectives, policies, various activities, and outcomes through media channels. Its primary goal is to showcase the college’s educational and academic identity, strengthen the relationship between the Deanship and the external community, and solidify positive perceptions by highlighting achievements. This enhances the college’s status and fosters strong ties with its students specifically and society in general.

Structural Composition

The Division of Media and Government Communication consists of the following units:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promoting Identity: Defining the mission, goals, plans, policies, and various programs of the college (scientific, cultural, athletic, and social).

  • Activity Management: Planning, organizing, executing, and providing media coverage for all cultural and media activities and events within the college.

  • Academic Recognition: Introducing the college’s faculty members and scholars who have played a pivotal role in the scientific journey, highlighting their achievements and scientific publications.

  • Information Dissemination: Publishing all college-related news and announcements, and providing proposals for visual, audio, and print media activities.

  • Media Monitoring: Monitoring various media outlets for any news or matters pertaining to the college.

  • Documentation: Photographing and filming all events and activities, including seminars, conferences, workshops, and student activities, and ensuring their publication across media platforms.

  • Central Participation: Actively participating in major university-wide events, such as University Day, central conferences, and graduation ceremonies.
