The discussion committee was chaired by Dr. Adnan AjilObaid / Faculty of Law, Al-Qadisiyah University, and the membership of Dr. SevanBakradMisrob and Dr. Muhammad IzzatFadel.

The researcher discussed that each country has a constitution that governs it, and it differs from one country to another according to the constitutional identity that the state adopts.

In addition, the constitution is the expression of the psychological mood of the people and the fulfillment of their aspirations, and this is only through its possession of many components represented by several basic principles, including the principle of peaceful rotation of power, the guarantee of rights and freedoms, and the guarantee of the judiciary through the control it exercises.

The researcher has reached a number of results, the foremost of which is that the most important distinguishing feature of a democratic constitution from other constitutions is that it contains a set of components, including the sovereignty of the people and the submission of rulers and the ruled to the law.

In addition, it includes the principle of separation of powers and ensuring respect for and guaranteeing rights and freedoms.

At the conclusion of the discussion, the committee accepted the student’s thesis and was granted a master’s degree in constitutional law.
