The College of Law is one of the most prominent humanities colleges at the University of Mosul. It was established in the academic year 1983-1984, and it was called the College of Law. The Department of Politics was created there, and it was called the College of Law and Politics. As a result of the Politics Department joining the College of Political Sciences that was created at that time, the previous name was returned to it (College of Law) with one scientific department
