College in Brief

The College of Law is one of the most prominent humanities colleges at the University of Mosul. It was established in the academic year 1983-1984. It was called the College of Law. The Department of Politics was introduced in it and was called the College of Law and Politics. College of Law) with one scientific department, the Department of Law, and in the academic year 1993-1994, the single scientific department split into two scientific branches, the Public Law Branch and the Private Law Branch. My third science in the name of the branch of human rights law. The Faculty of Law grants a bachelor’s degree in law. The duration of the study is four years, during which the student receives various legal sciences, which are included in the study materials for both the private and public branches. Evening studies were introduced in the academic year 1994-1995. Number of graduated courses: (36) morning study courses, (12) evening courses. Postgraduate studies were introduced in the year (1993-1994), when the college grants a master’s degree and a doctorate for both branches of public and private law. The number of faculty members in the college is (123), and they are according to the scientific title: professor (15), assistant professor (49), teacher (37), and assistant teacher (15).
