Workshop _ college of law

In the presence of Dr. WissamNemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, the respected dean of the faculty, members of the faculty council, a group of faculty members of the college and its employees, and a number of legal researchers and those interested in human rights.On Tuesday, 12/22/2020, our college held a workshop on the impact of law and the media on social cohesion, which was presented by CIF (the French Agency for Media Development) as part of the optimism project that the organization is implementing in cooperation with the University of Mosul.The workshop witnessed the presentation of two working papers, the first presented by Dr. Khalaf Ramadan Muhammad, the respected professor of public international law, assistant dean for administrative and financial affairs in our college, where he explained in his paper the prevalence of social cohesion in the legal state in which the rulers and the ruled are subject to the provisions of legal rules and touched on the effects of wars and conflicts and the two horizontal dimensions Vertical to social cohesion and its relationship to societal peace and indicated that societal cohesion is not limited to a specific country because there is no state in the world that contains one race. The second working paper was presented by Dr. Waad Ibrahim Khalil / Faculty of Arts, Department of Sociology, where he touched on the social ties between Individuals, the individual is a social being that has community relations in two patterns, one of which is organic and the other is mechanical. He indicated that community relations weaken as the urbanization increases, which has been greatly affected by the cultural invasion resulting from the use of various social media, which has become a weapon that can contribute to the demolition of societies if used in a negative way in addition To the role of media and satellite channels that are far from censorship and the destructive content they contain Any society.Video reports were shown on social cohesion in Nineveh Governorate.Finally, the attendees addressed a number of questions and inquiries that were answered in detail by the workshop organizers.This workshop comes within the series of scientific, cultural, student and community activities that our college holds, which aims to develop solutions and solutions to problems and dilemmas that could threaten the building of society and its cohesion.
