Electronic scientific symposium _ College of law

Under the patronage of Professor QusayKamel Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, the respected President of the University of Mosul, and with the follow-up of Dr. WissamNemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, the respected dean of our college

Our college, through electronic platforms, and in cooperation with the Center for Regional Studies and the College of Administration and Economics / University of Mosul, held an electronic scientific symposium on Sunday, corresponding to 10/1/2021, entitled (Financing the financial deficit in the Iraq 2021 budget: an economic _ legal vision)

The dean of our college gave a speech in which he affirmed the college’s keenness to address economic and financial issues and cooperation in order to overcome the effects arising from the financial deficit.

The symposium witnessed the presentation of a number of research papers according to economic and legal perspectives. A number of researchers, academics, and experts in the field of economics and law took turns presenting them, in addition to teaching staff from the Faculties of Law, Administration and Economics / University of Mosul

The symposium had two axes, the first axis represented by the economic axis that explained the financial deficit in the Iraqi budget, its causes, treatments, and the financial implications of the internal borrowing law, its importance and justifications, and the devaluation of the Iraqi dinar in a difficult year and alternative treatments

As for the legal axis, it dealt with methods of financing the deficit in light of the provisions of the Federal Budget Law for 2021, the governmental mechanisms for financing the fiscal deficit, and the internal borrowing law between the hammer of the crisis and the anvil of repercussions
