Master’s Thesis in the Public Law Branch on Criminal Protection for Information Security _ college of law

The Public Law Branch of the Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on criminal protection for information security on Wednesday April 28, 2021 attended by a part of it, Assistant Professor Dr. WissamNemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College and Assistant Professor Dr. Kedar Abdel QaderSaleh, Head of the Public Law Branch and a number of the faculty

The message presented by the student Maher Sabah Habib dealt with modern technology and the information revolution in the field of science and technology that brought the world closer to virtual life, which required study and research into the facts of that revolution and its negative repercussions on societal security represented by information security, which no one today argues that it now occupies a space. A great deal of interest by legal scholars and lawmakers is to set up legal frameworks that ensure that these information means are not used in aggression against the protected interests or endangering them

The study aims to show that modern technology has become a necessity for life. However, despite its great benefits it brought to humanity, it was associated with many risks that affect social interests in an unconventional way

The discussion committee is chaired by Prof. Dr. Sabah Misbah Suleiman and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Mahmoud Khalaf and Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Ahmed Mohamed and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Talal Abdel Hussein
