Master’s thesis in the private law branch on the legal organization of the medical certificate according to the provisions of the civil law / a comparative study

The Private Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on the legal organization of the medical certificate according to the provisions of civil law / a comparative study on Monday, May 31, 2021. Part of it was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. WissamNemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and Assistant Professor Dr. AjiadThamerNayef, Head of the Private Law Branch And a number of college teachers

The letter submitted by the student AsmaaAmjad Hassan in the private law branch dealt with the profession of medicine, considering that the doctor, when practicing his profession, performs many medical works, the most important of which is the issuance of medical certificates, which are among the most important medical documents that require the doctor to take care and caution when editing them, as it relates to the rights of the applicant for the certificate

The study aims to show that the Iraqi law and the comparative laws did not define the medical certificate, so a definition was set for the medical certificate (a document that the doctor writes to the person after taking his medical history and examining it and finding or interpreting facts of a medical nature concerning the examined person or its applicant whose purpose is to prove a medical fact for the applicant for the certificate. Establishing a medical certificate requires the availability of substantive and formal conditions

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Akram Mahmoud Hussein, the membership of the Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Muhammad Abdullah, the Assistant Professor Dr. ZiadKhalafAliwi, and the membership and supervision of Prof. Taima Mahmoud Fawzy
