The Private Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on the legal system for judicial mediation in civil lawsuits/a comparative study on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, a part of which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Members of the college council and its teachers

The letter presented by the student Mahmoud Muhammad Sharif in the private law branch dealt with the search for alternative means of settling disputes in amicable ways. The independence of the judiciary within the framework of the law and the equality of all members of society before the judiciary and making it accessible to them without discrimination

The study aims to show that the comparative legislation did not provide a definition of judicial mediation, with the exception of the Lebanese and French laws, which set a definition of judicial mediation. between them in an amicable and consensual manner and reaching an agreement between the litigants

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ammar Saadoun Hamid, with the membership of Dr. Yasser Bassem Thanoun, Dr. Faris Ali Omar, and the membership and supervision of Dr. Taima Mahmoud Fawzy
