Master’s thesis in the private law branch on the legal system of artificial intelligence / comparative study

The Private Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on the legal system of artificial intelligence on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Part of it was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Neamat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ajyad Thamer Nayef, Head of the Private Law Branch, and a number of members of the College Council and its teachers

The thesis presented by the student Omar Nafeh Reda in the private law branch dealt with the definition of artificial intelligence and the statement of its provisions in legal relations within the scope of Iraqi legislation and other laws in question to keep pace with technical development and knowledge in all its aspects and the revolution that the world is witnessing in the world of modern programs and algorithms capable of simulating actions The mental capabilities of a person

The study aims to show that artificial intelligence systems are a scientific phenomenon and revolution in the world of data with multiple patterns that include the formation of automated knowledge programs and algorithms according to ambiguous understanding to perform multiple purposes based on prediction and then decision-making.

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Antar Fathi and the membership of Dr. Raeda Muhammad Mahmoud and Dr. Fathi Ali Fathi and the membership and supervision of Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Muhammad Abdullah
