PhD thesis in the private law branch on the fall of rights in matters of marriage and its dissolution / a comparative study

The Private Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral thesis on the fall of rights in matters of marriage and its dissolution / a comparative study on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Part of it was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College and Professor Khalaf Ramadan Muhammad, Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Muhammad Abdullah, Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Ajyad Thamer Nayef, Head of the Private Law Branch, and a number of faculty and staff members

The thesis submitted by the student Fadia Adnan Hassan in the private law branch dealt with the most important reasons that arise in rights after they are proven to their owners, whether in matters of marriage or its dissolution, with an explanation of the legal and legal document for the fall of these rights and their demise from their owners

The study aims to clarify the importance of the text on the issue of the forfeiture of marital alimony in the case of apostasy, whether from the husband or wife or both, depending on all that was said of jurisprudential opinions, especially since Islamic jurisprudence is the first source of legislation in the personal status law

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Yasser Basem Thanoun, with the membership of Prof. Dr. Qahtan Hadi Abdullah, Prof. Hamid Sultan Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Muhammad, Assistant Professor Dr. Obaid Abdullah Zaidan, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Nadia Khair El-Din Aziz
