Master’s thesis in the private law branch on the review of civil judicial rulings

On Monday, December 13, 2021, the Private Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on the review of civil judicial rulings

Part of it was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Neamat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College and a number of members of the College Council and its lecturers

The letter submitted by the student Nadia Ihsan Hussein in the private law branch dealt with a review of judicial rulings, whose importance is focused on expanding the cases in which the idea of ​​a changing ruling can be implemented by changing circumstances and the basis on which it is based. to achieve and apply

The study aims to show that the review of civil judicial rulings is embodied as a judicial legal means in the form of a lawsuit of a special nature, based on the reconsideration of a previous ruling to give special protection to rights and legal positions by amending, repealing or supporting the previous ruling, as it is a necessity to achieve justice and satisfy the interests of the opponents. Full satisfaction with the amendment or cancellation of the previous ruling and the issuance of a new ruling, so reviewing judicial rulings is a judicial legal procedure that produces special legal effects
