Master’s thesis in the branch of private law on the effect of establishing commercial arbitration centers in settling commercial disputes / a comparative study -college of law

On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, the Private Law Branch of the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on the impact of the establishment of commercial arbitration centers in settling commercial disputes/a comparative study, part of which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr.
The letter presented by the student Abdul-Basit Hussein Fakhri dealt with the resort of traders and investors to institutional commercial arbitration in settling commercial disputes in the context of seeking to find parallel judicial means that would be faster, less complicated and more accomplished because what is important to them is the time factor that equals money in business.
The thesis aims to show that institutional commercial arbitration is characterized by speed, flexibility and simplification of procedures, as well as confidentiality in arbitration sessions, eliminating the problem of conflict of laws and conflict of jurisdiction, and providing a list of specialized arbitrators.
The discussion committee was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Ibrahim Ali, with the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Radwan Hashem Hamdoun, the teacher Dr. Shaima Fawzi Ahmed, and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Nateq Saleh.
