Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage – College of law

The Deanship of the Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul is keen to implement cultural and community programs and the activities, protocols and agreements that emanate from them, including the Convention for the Preservation of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. Cultural and intangible teaching and teaching for legal protection, writing many higher diploma research, master’s theses, doctoral dissertations, many researches, and providing studies and recommendations for the college’s cultural activities to institutions concerned with cultural affairs in addition to legal advice. It provides protection for cultural property and individuals working in the institutions based on it, whether in times of armed conflict in all its forms and manifestations, or in peacetime, as the laws consideredAnd the Iraqi legislation, any attack or prejudice to cultural property is a crime punishable by law, and finally, the distinguished efforts of the College of Law Council, its cadres and its affiliates in cooperating with community institutions in the context of seeking to preserve the history, heritage and civilization of Mesopotamia that extend for thousands of years must be commended.
