Master’s thesis in the public law branch on the legal organization of government auditing / comparative study,,,

On Monday, June 20, 2022, the Public Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on the legal regulation of government auditing, part of which was attended by Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of Mosul University, Mr. Amin Ibrahim Al-Fanash, Mayor of Mosul District, and Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean The college and a number of members of the college council and its teachers.

The thesis presented by the student Rayan Ahmed Jassim in the Public Law Branch dealt with the government accounting audit, which is one of the important tools that the state relies on in preserving public money from fraud, manipulation and loss, since the objective examinations of financial statements and accounting data that are the final outcome of public spending in the state It is done through an employee within the administrative structure of the unit, who is the government auditor.

The study aims to show that the government accounting audit is nothing but the safety valve in government units whose financing is from the public treasury of the state.

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Saad Attia Hamad, with the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed, the school Dr. Zainab Munther Jassem, and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Qabas Hassan Awwad.
