Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khaled Jassim, one of the human rights law faculty members at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, participated in a training workshop on peace building, which dealt with a project on empowering and engaging societal mechanisms with local authorities to enhance social cohesion, in addition to analyzing the local environment and explaining the causes and effects of conflicts and their analysis, peacebuilding and a statement Its positive aspects in local communities and the role of the government, clans and clergymen in social cohesion, and this workshop represents the college’s endeavor to build bridges of scientific and knowledge communication with scientific institutions and community organizations and the use of legal knowledge in a way that contributes to achieving community awareness and the resulting positive effects that have a role in the stability of society Its growth and development.
