Master’s thesis in the public law branch on criminal protection for a doctor about the results of his medical work / a comparative study,,,

On Sunday, September 25, 2022, the Public Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on criminal protection for the doctor about the results of his medical work / a comparative study, a part of which was attended by Prof. Law and a number of members of the College Council and its teachers.

I addressed the message submitted by the studentKhalil Mohsen Khalil The role of the doctor in saving human lives and the need to provide legal and social support. The Iraqi legislator approved the provision of protection for workers in governmental and non-governmental institutions through the issuance of the Doctors Protection Law No. 26 of 2013 as well as the provisions contained in the Penal Code.

The study aims to develop a definition of criminal protection for doctors as a set of objective and procedural rules stipulated in the criminal law to ward off illegal acts that affect the doctor because of his medical work, including deterrent penalties.

The discussion committee was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Mahmoud Khalaf and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Israa Younis Hadi, the teacher Dr. Ali Adnan Yahya, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Fadel Saeed.
