On Thursday, October 13, 2022, the Private Law Branch of the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on Heba Al-Din, part of which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College and a number of members of the College Council and its teachers.
The letter submitted by the student Buthaina Odah Hammadi in the private law branch dealt with the definition of the gift of debt as the gift of the creditor to the debt that the debtor or his discharge from it, and the debtor did not return it. Religion comes In the sense of obligation, right, obligation, or duty, all of them are meanings that refer to one connotation, which is every right that is established in a person’s obligation and demands to be fulfilled.
The message aims to show that the gift of a debt is a legal act that arises by the unilateral will of the creditor without dependent on the acceptance of the debtor, but it is implemented with the acceptance of the debtor or his non-refoulement. And that it is of great importance. The second type of debt gift is the debt gift to the non-debtor, which consists of three parties: the creditor, the debtor and the third party or what is called the donated to him.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Akram Mahmoud Hussein, with the membership of Prof. Dr. Amer Ashour Abdullah, Dr. Yousra Walid Ibrahim, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Habib Idris Issa.
