Master’s thesis in human rights law branch on the role of the World Health Organization in protecting the right to health,,,
On Monday, October 24, 2022, the Human Rights Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on the role of the World Health Organization in protecting the right to health. Part of it was attended by Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, Assistant President of Mosul University for Scientific Affairs and Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law and a number of members of the College Council and its teachers.
The letter presented by the student, Muhammad Mahmoud Ramadan, in the Human Rights Law Branch, dealt with the role of the World Health Organization, which was established after the Second World War, in protecting the right to In health, as this organization seeks to reach all peoples to the full health level, it also provides advisory services through the dissemination of information and assistance in training those in the field of health. Crucial to health in partnerships that require joint action, provision of technical support, institutional capacity building, monitoring of health status and assessment of health trends.
The message aims to show that the World Health Organization has played a major role in raising awareness and providing aid and conducting many studies and tests necessary to prevent the spread of epidemics around the world. It also sought to train millions of health workers around the world. The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Talaat Ajyad Laji, with the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Iyad Younis Mohamed, and Assistant Professor Dr. Suha Hamid Salim, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khaled Jassim.
